Above all “Love”

Loving Father, how excellent is Your Name.  Who can explain Your love,  Your perfect love?  How I wonder why You love us so much, when we have transgressed against You and all Your commands.  We are in awe and forever thankful, for Your eternal Gift of Sacrifice, YaHUShA our Messiah.  You came as a Suffering Servant to all mankind.

We come to Him just as we are and He receives us.  Keeping a short account of our daily transgressions, with a remorseful heart, He hears us.  In staying close to Him, in our daily walk, praying and reading His Word, we are able to live in His victory.  When we lose the vision of His Presence and Will for us, slipping away becomes so easy and we fall into some very serious distractions.  Judging and disciplining ourselves with the guide of YaHUShA’s love for us, is a very important lifestyle.

1 John 4:19  We love Him because He first loved us.

When we are experiencing trials and hardships, that is when we need to stay close to Him, or we will not manage on our own.  Often finding our own way through trials,  we bring ourselves back to the conclusion, we have forgotten our obedience.

Have you thought about walking in love?  It’s not impossible.  The more we exercise and work in this important area, the easier it gets.  Abba would not ask to do something, if He knows it’s impossible for us.

YaHUShA was challenged by one of the Pharisees, questioning Him about what is the great command in the Torah …

Matthew 22: 36-40   “Teacher, which is the great command in the Torah?”  37  And YaHUShA said to him, “You shall love YaHUaH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind.’  38  “This is the first and great command. 39 “And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’  40  “On these two commands hang all the Torah and the Prophets.”

Let’s take a look at the things God hates :

Proverbs 6:16 – 19   These six matters YaHUaH hates, And seven are an abomination to Him:  17  A proud look, A lying tongue, And hands shedding innocent blood,  18  A heart devising wicked schemes,  Feet quick to run to evil,  19  A false witness breathing out lies, And one who causes strife among brothers.

These acts are opposite to love.  Stemming from a hateful heart.  When some choose to sin, they do so out of self, totally their own will.  So sin is from man and not from YaHUaH.

YaHUShA walked in perfect love.   One of the things that prevent us from being able to walk in love, is fear.  I have struggled so much with fear, it was not a joke.  If you are having great difficulties walking in fear, go to the scriptures and find specific scriptures relating to what is giving you fear.  I was very fearful thinking terrible things were going to happen to me.  Honestly I did and my limbs would shake or go weak.  I read Psalm 91 every single day.  Psalms has a lot of healing for your heart and is a great comfort to hear of how much YaHUaH walks with us, loves us and takes us by His right, or our right hand.  Plenty Psalms mention that.  Ask Him to forgive you for walking in fear, as it is sin.  Fear holds punishment.

1 John 4:18  There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear holds punishment, and he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

YaHUShA loved His worst enemies.  This is an amazing example for us.  I have to remind myself so often about this scripture.  At the worst times of His life on earth, He still walked in love.  We feel we are right in shouting back, or saying something to make ourselves feel good.  O that little member in our body called, ‘the tongue.’  The tongue, the tongue and the tongue.  Our attitude needs serious working on.  As we grow and get more mature in our walk, it gets better and you love with respect for another.

Matthew 5: 44  “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those insulting you and persecuting you,

Living with a loving heart brings joy.  Read and meditate often on this Chapter of   1 Corinthians 13

1 Corinthians 13:1 – 13    If I speak with the tongues of men and of messengers, but do not have love, I have become as sounding brass or a clanging symbol.  2  And if I have prophecy, and know all secrets and all knowledge, and if I have all belief, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am none at all.  3 And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but do not have love, I am not profited at all.  4  Love is patient, is kind, love does not envy, love does not boast, is not puffed up,  5  does not behave indecently, does not seek its own, is not provoked, reckons not the evil,  6  does not rejoice over the unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth,  7  it covers all, believes all, expects all, endures all.  8  Love never fails.  And whether there be  prophecies, they shall be inactive; or tongues, they shall cease; or knowledge, it shall be inactive.  9  For we know in part and we prophesy in part.  10 But then that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part shall be inactive.  11  When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child.  But when I became a man, I did away with childish matters.  12  For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face.  Now I know in part, but then I shall know, as I also have been known.  13  And now belief, expectation,. and love remain – these three.  But the greatest of these is love.

If you have not loved, confess your sin to God and ask the person to forgive you. I ask with my heart one thing, do not use the Name of YaHUShA to constantly get a free ticket.  In this I mean, living a sinful life, just excusing yourself.  We have to get serious and committed to His commands.  Continue, in your reading with love verses.  They will uplift you and in Him you will be victorious.
