Stepping over the edge of the boat

One thing is for sure, our faith and belief will be tested.  It’s a process called purifying gold or silver, polishing precious stones and being on The Potter’s wheel.

If we get everything we want, just exactly how when and why; well can you honestly tell me you are believing?  How so?  You see what you get how, when, where and why on the instant, there’s no belief or patience being tested or even better, grown!  So we just expect all to fall in our laps.  As a child I remember I had to acquire a certain amount of patience if mom couldn’t jump to my call.  So as we grow, we get trained in the way we should go, so it should be. Our parents disciplined us and we learned by our mistakes, believe me and I know this is not news to you.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he turns not away from it.

You see, God never promised us once, that everything will be a bed of roses.  All gifts would just come flying out of the sky.  No, He works in us to bring us into a place of growth and maturity.  Our fruits will be tried, tested and proven.

Galatians 5: 22 – 23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustworthiness,  23 gentleness, self-control. Against which there is no Torah.

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Trustworthiness, Faith, Gentleness, Self-control.  We are all tested in all at different times, different reasons, in every different situation.  God will not expect you to just arrive at perfection.  A step at a time, He will walk through with you holding your right hand.  Therefore proving us to be more like Him.  The only way to go through this walk is to keep your eyes focused and stayed on Him.

Colossians 3:2    Psalms 16:8   Philippians 4:8   Hebrews 12:2  some beautiful scriptures, please read them.

Someone asked a Silversmith if he knew when his silver was pure. He replied, “why yes, when I see my face perfectly in that piece of silver.”  Wow, that got to my heart right there.  He loves us so much that He cares how we are perfected in His trying us.  I will remind you, Abba will never let you go through trials and tests, more than you are able to bear. So trust in Him step at a time.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No trial has ever overtaken you except such as is common to man, and Elohim is trustworthy, who shall not allow you to be tried beyond what you are able, but with the trial shall also make the way of escape enabling you to bear it.

A typical example of stepping over the edge of the boat, read my writing – Part I and Part II   A New Door in Faith – My husband.

I had gone through a transition of utmost pressure, pain, rejection, exclusion, separation despair, loneliness, destitute facing me in full view and eating legumes.  I had to stand and in fact not only stand in the raging storm, I had to step out of the boat and reach out to YaHUShA and take His right hand. It took everything to wait on Him.  It took seven months before I had confirmation of what my future held. After this experience I had learned for the first time, to really know how to spiritually trust in my King.  He turned my life from an ugly caterpillar to a butterfly. He had given me new wings. Time and time again, the tests kept coming I was not well and I had to trust Abba for medication for the illness I have. Read my blog  Silent illness is never heard. I had to trust God for a friend to meet and show me around my new and very strange surroundings of the new town.  He provided my medication and He gave me a friend. Yes He is faithful

Deuteronomy 7:9 “And you shall know that YHWH your Elohim, He is Elohim, the trustworthy El guarding covenant and kindness for a thousand generations with those who love Him, and those who guard His commands,

1 Corinthians 1:9 Elohim is trustworthy, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, YaHUShA Messiah our Master.

1 Thessalonians 5:24 He who calls you is trustworthy, who shall do it.

So I am sharing with you my step by step experiences and walk with Abba Father.  We trust Him, to bring us through our raging storms in life and our faith and belief grows.

Hebrews 11:1 And belief is the substance of what is expected, the proof of what is not seen.

Galatians 3:7 Know, then, that those who are of belief are sons of Abraham.

James 1:6 – 8    6 But he should ask in belief, not doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  7 For that man should not think that he shall receive whatever from the Master –  8 he is a double – minded man, unstable in all his ways.
